Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:Positive news

RE:RE:Positive newsYou are correct that there will be no official release prior to Jan 25 consult period
however after that expect a "grand slam".

The voices in consultation are in unison to the followig questions bearing in mind the over riding
concerns of "health" and " safety" and "underage prescribing for medical conditions - eg epilepsy Attention Defict Hyeractive syndrome and certain autistic spectrum and chronic pain conditions

1. Who is best equipped legally and professionally to dispense doctor ordered medications ?
Private pharmacies or commercial LP's or Government run

2. What is the best medium - online or in store or a combination thereof ?

3. Should the provinces or federal have jurisdiction over the medical dispensation of Cannabis or a combination thereof.

4. Should older long term care patiends be forced to use on line if they happen to be computer illiterate or are too sick to go to pharmacy or can they have their presciptions of Cannabis be filled by proxy (nurses) in an institutional setting.

5. Is carrying Cannabis "behind the counter" in pharmacies any more of a security risk than the current more potent and street used products like OxyContin and Fentanyl patches or Morphine.

The pharmacists want those dispensing fees !!
The pharmacies want the "in store traffic" for purchase of other higher margin items (perfumes and cosmetics etc) !!

When push comes to shove in politics the powers with money always wins.
