RE:CBW has Marijuana ETF feel to it....?JJ.
I know what  you mean,  but like you  say, it is different.
A ETF  takes a piece  of the company  via a x% of the shares..
Fnv, wpm, ssl, ad, crz, cbw, inp,  rzz, grc, rnp, or, div, .... invest in the underlying business  via multiple  chanels . Buyng stock can be one of them. But mostly you can see it as a loon,  a upfront  cash  injection,  with  can be used  to grow up  the company.  The currency  to payback  the investment,  can be gold, silver, copper,  canola,  or in this case, cannabis  It is a win win situation for  both  parties, and I allways read happy comments from the both CEO's.
I never  read  : we are happy that ETF x bought  a chare  of owner  company.
