RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE: Another reduction in shortsI didn't know Gopats had passed away - sorry to hear that. And no I'm not ashamed of myself.
I was merely pointing out that anyone who relies on information gleaned on a blog, even such as this one, when make investing decisions is playing with fire.
I appreciate all the info that is posted here but I don't know any of you personally even though it seems like I do as I have monitored this site for at least 7/8 years.
According to many on this site, and I don't disagree, TOS3 SP should be multiplies of what it is today or have been sold at multiplies of what it is. That does concern me somewhat.
I made the mistake of holding TOS, a spec stock, far longer than I should have.
I still believe in the technology and had my belief confirmed years ago, and again lately, from info I got from a person I know personally.
She is/was directly involved with a large Canadian hospital on a contract basis advising on purchasing and is familiar with hospital operations. When I pointed out that TOS had a non toxic low temp system for actually sterilizing scopes she looked into it and took it to a meeting at the hospital and there was general agreement that it was what we refer to as a 'game changer' - IF they could prove that it worked as advertised. (She noted at that time they could not find it listed on Health Canada's web site where many small Canadian manufacturers in the health care field are - I mentioned that here a few months ago)
However she pointed out years ago that even if they had a proven superior system it is a monumental task for a small company, especially a small Canadian company, to get their product to market without partnering with a large multinational as dealing with the FDA and then getting it to market is a very expensive, time consuming, daunting task. Therfore they often end up being bought out at a fraction of what the technology should be worth.
Over many years much of what she said has proven to be right.
I have bought and sold this stock over the years, am  'in the money' with it and still hold a large, for me, number of shares.
Meanwhile good luck to all holders of TOS - long winded way of saying do your own DD!
