Among other things, I use https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=%24bpcompq to time when the general markets are about to change trend. I have never seen the chart at such highs before (excessive complacency and euphoria in the markets). I don't believe the market can sustain the highs we are seeing for much longer, and we are long overdue for a market correction. With the Federal Reserve "tightening" and the Chinese slowing or halting their purchases of US treasuries I think it is only a matter of time (1 month?) before we see a substantial market correction of 20% or greater. They say though that the market can extend any trend for longer than you can remain solvent, but we'll see what the next month brings. All IMHO :)
