This conversation brings something else to mind...HIP shareholders voted overwhelmingly in favour of the merger with CMED at 3:100 share conversion. In light of recent events and more potential Tragically hip fans jumping on the band wagon (so to speak) could there be fall out from those same people (fans) with the same deal inlight of the recent increase of HIP share prices? Would they suddenly see it as a less attractive deal given current share values?

It would be a bad thing to incur the wrath of a fan base as large as the Tragically hips, not to mention fans that consider themselves patriots.
