Very interestingly I have heard that too. They were explaining the real reason about it, such as for corrupt government does not care about ppl and environment that is why they are revoking the process. Armen Sargssyan, a former ambassador of Armenia in UK and main partner of the project and mastermind of this project is running for 4-th president of Armenia proposed by ruling party Republicans and he is scheduled to meet with parliament fractions, civil society members, media, general public and inteligentsia to get approvals from them before crucial vote on March second. So as a lot can happen during these kind of meetings and he can be viewed and accused badly for this deadly project and harm his reputation before crucial vote on March 2-nd, so they have decided to play "nice guy" game for him halting and revoking this project in order ppl to say that what a powerful and decisive guy is he who cares more for the country rather for his business thus giving him big boost as an "angel'. Good game hmm? the only sad part of it is that many naive ppl and investors will gonna loose their investments for a such political well performed game and of course his ambitions to achieve the chair of the president. Anyone that knows how political games can be played by sacrifizing others for their own interest, no need o explain! Here, naive investers are to play that victim role!
