PennyGee wrote: Jeff Currie called for $65 oil almost exactly one year ago. Ed Morse called for $70, so did Pierre Andurand and Andy Hall. They got that they hoped for - 12 months later. Hordes of their followers were stuck in 30% - 70% loss for almost an entire year and good old Mr. Hall ended up having to fold up his fund. Pretty pricey mistake. BTW, if you go though the posts on the Energy Board of Investor Village dated between Feb 1, 2017 and August 30, 2017, you will see how wrong collective thinking can be - why I only visit the Turkey Board and a couple private boards on IV these days. We will see a sharp spike in oil price by mid-2018, so sharp it could send the general market crashing, no doubt. But as I said two weeks ago, despite the constant pumping by oil bulls on the Internet, on TV and on the Street, oil stocks looked very risky since mid-Jan with the record net long specs in both Brent and Wti. Something has to give before oil stocks shine. PG

Is your handle howcrude on IV?
