This is a lot like a poker gameOne similarity involves a little bluffing, without lying. I suppose bringing on Ron Clayton as a Director could involve some. It also tells potential suitors that GSV has alternatives. I can't tell you whether GSV will become an operational miner, but I doubt Gold Corp or Oceana know either. Who knows if it is a bluff?
Perhaps more significant in that press release, linked below was the reference to completing a Preliminary Economic Assessment or PEA. I thought I might have seen an estimate for its due date (late Spring?), but can't seem to find it just now.
I view that as one of the most significant steps. I think bids are more likely following completion of a PEA. Anyone recall if there is a expected date? Thank you.
By the way, I expect GSV to trage with gold. I see potential there. The GDXJ connection won't hurt, this year.
