RE:RE:RE:Has anyone gotten anything backTo be clear, it's "global leader" not "world leader"
Kim Jong-un. And yes, Memex
is a global leader in the IIOT/OEE space, offering a cutting edge connectivity technology that is just beginning to get traction in the mega-Billion dollar manufacturing industry. This is innovation. That's how being a "first-mover" works, plodding and tedious progress with small successes in spurts initially as a few forward-thinking executives in manufacturing companies have those first "lightbulb" moments and realize the immense benefit of Merlin and the utilization of Overall Equipment Effectiveness metrics to increase their output and reduce their operating expenses.
The sub-$500k NR last week was significant not due to the dollar amount involved but because it shows that the company is getting its name out there, becoming known and gaining traction in 2018 as shown by the fact that three entirely new clients account for the orders. Maybe they are paid Merlin Tempus trials on 1-2 machines or maybe they account for most of the $475k, I don't know. What I do know is Memex has a history of, and a stated goal of securing repeat business once they prove the value of the Merlin platform.
Any one of these three new customers or any of their existing customers could submit a purchase order tomorrow for their entire factory (or even multiple locations) containing dozens or hundreds of machines to be connected by Merlin. See SEW-EURODRIVE for example. They started, as most of Memex's customers do, as a paid trial then came back to Memex to do their entire quarter-of-a-million sq.ft. facility. After "a thorough and careful competitive evaluation process" (meaning they also trialed competitors' technology) SEW-EURODRIVE chose Memex for their entire operation.
I'm of the opinion that this will happen again and again as IIOT/OEE ramps up and companies begin to recognize its benefit to their bottom lines. Right now many of Memex's customers are installing Merlin for the purpose of gaining a "competitive advantage" which means they're early adopters of a technology their competitors aren't using...yet. Soon however, competitors of those early adopters will be looking to OEE systems in an attempt to play catch-up like the nuclear arms race. They got nukes, we need nukes.
At some point, the situation snowballs and having a connected shop floor won't simply be an advantage, it will be a basic business necessity for competitive survival. And what better organization than a global leader to help companies get their equipment connected and monitored? Memex is working with high-caliber partners (Mazak, Cisco, Okuma, Microsoft, etc.) and their case studies and customer testimonials demonstrate the value their IIOT solutions bring to manufacturers. I'm well into the black with Memex and have no doubt this low tide will turn soon, just as it has before.
Happy investing.

A so called "world leader" that sits at 10 cents with a market cap less than 20M. Does a press release for sales less than 500k. I am in sales and bring in more money than that by myself lol
