US tobacco company is getting in .... It's starting It's just the beginning. A US tobacco company bought controlling stakes in two Canadian marijuana producers. Alliance one international is a large tobacco company and trades on the New York stock exchange. Alliance ones purchase follows a similar move in October by global alcohol giant Constellation Brands which bought 9.9% of canopy growth for C$245 million. Both transactions mark the alcohol and tobacco industry's initial attempts to capitalize on the rapidly growing marijuana industry, particularly in Canada, which is slated to legalize adult use marijuana this summer .This is a good start seeing US buying into this very profitable market ...buy Fire while it is cheap ....enjoy your weekend
