Heads-upThe company in their second last news release said that the financing was to close on Feb 14. That was yesterday and as of today no announcement. What are the possibilities of the financing not closing? Silly question? lets look at this further. 1) pending news is delayed 2) short positions on HIP is one of the highest on the tsx and coincidentally increases after the merge hype and bought deal finance announcement 3) HIP hires Whalen to chair the "audit committee" yesterday. Just a possibility but if this pans out it could be bad news and would reflect on the share price.
