RE:RE:Perspective on Insider Buyinig
First - thanx. I assumed it was both a personal and corporate purchase. Still - I like the confidence shown. ---------------------------Second. Insider buys are no guarantee, but on average it represents a safer time to buy stocks. He lost out when he bought shortly after the 2016 run-up (a triple) and retreat. He should have waited for a full retreat - but as you said - he has his eye on the LT prize. I merely stated that the last tranche of buying (Nov/Dec 2017) has been very prescient (without the wind of a PoG increase behind it). Insiders can't predict the direction that the price of gold will take, but they do normally have a handle on what can & might go wrong (execution-wise) in the short term. Buying of late suggests nothing.------------------Third - the $ 6 dollar target means nothing. Except that it is the 2016 high during a crazy run-up for most gold mining stocks in the first half of 2016. I did very well with that run-up. Sold most of it during the flurry. Reloaded a bit too early (like the insiders), but also averaged down at $ 2.50. Looking for a 2 bagger + from fall 2017 lows. I think we will see it shortly. GL MM
