Not familiar with VP4

Not familiar with VP4I recently emailed a local hospital that I donate to in my area regarding the cleaning of their scopes including their duodenoscopes pointing out that I doubt that they can sterilize them.
In my email to him I said that I imagined they used scopes manufactured by one of either Olympus, Pentax, or Fujifilm and that I knew for a fact that there was a problem with the cleaning of those scopes and ask how they processed theirs.
To his credit he replied and pointed out that in fact they were ahead of the US in the cleaning process as their staff were highly trained etc, etc, etc.
He explained that they use Olympus scopes and follow that companies cleaning procedure religiously and they had recently been recertified by Olympus as medical device reprocessing specialists.
( I intend forwarding him the recent letter the FDA sent Olympus demanding they fulfil the previous request for data regarding scope cleaning)
He also said they use the STERIS System 1 Express and noted that Steris has a claim to sterility using that machine (though not widely accepted) - his parenthisis
He also mentioned that the duodenoscopes are "double cleaned" both pre and post procedure
(sounds like HLD?)
I have a question for anyone here and that is can anyone confirm that the STERIS can, or not, actually sterilize scopes and if so is it cleared by the FDA as such. I don't believe it is but would appreciate any info as I intend to reply and want acurate information.
And by the way this hospital is in Canada, less than 450 km from TOS3 headquarters in Quebec City has over 250 beds and they apparently do not know of TSO3 or the VP4.
Appreciate any info as I intend following up with my local hospital on this.
