RE:VERDE NPV NOT WORTH $2 BILLION ... BUT OVER $5 BILLION !!!Excellent post LittleOwl. I've been meaning to post something similar for the past week or so, but you did it on a much more grandeur scale.
I emailed Cristiano Veloso late last year with a couple questions about his future plans for the company. He told me that they would not be looking for any more properties, as the one they have is far too large and will take too long to deplete anyways. He said that once they reach 25MT / annum they will try to get yet another expansion to the production limit to produce above 25MT/A. When asked what the company would do with all their cash flow, he replied that dividends will be a large part of their strategy, as well as share buybacks under the right conditions, as well as philanthropy.
I think Verde's biggest hurdle will be to prove that there is demand for their product with local farmers. Hopefully some offtake agreements or something along those lines will be announced this year. This is a long term hold for me, and I'm hoping for the company to develop into a rmonster dividend cash cow down the road.
