For the past several months I have wondered

For the past several months I have wondered
why the shorts don't cover. They know we are nearing great news that should give us a boost in the share price. Some shorts are leaving but not enough so why do they stay. The only conclusion I can come to is that they are confident they can beat the share price back down once the inititial good news wears off...
