We will close @ 1.30 - My thoughts:
We will close @ 1.30 - My thoughts:Dip are all across the board. ICC fundamentals remain the same -
strong and re-assuring.
My thoughts: We are currently in a time where, weather you like it or not, there is a movement towards general acceptance of Cannabis use - Globally.
- Recreational users: This number has been and continues to grow exponentionally. Look around, speak to people, travel, forget the statistics.
- Medical users: I want to say more and more studies, but honestly even I'm tired of hearing that statement. How about speaking anecdotally - in countries such as Canada, there is an opiod-epidemic. CBC talks about it all day long and has been for years. Personally speaking I work in Health care as well. Patients are practically begging to use products such as CBD oil so they dont have to surrender their life to precocets etc. Majority of physicians are now seeking education on Cannabis use and have started or plan on starting cannabis prescpritions. This is a real thing, ask your family MD how they feel next time your in.
- Politicians: The list of hypocritcal politicians who spent most of their lives fighting the "War on drugs" are now all getting into the business of Cannabis. So - What does this say about the Cannabis movement when even conservatives and i mean WELL KNOWN conservatives have pulled a 180? One of many examples: Julian Fantino who is an ex-chief of TWO police divisons in Toronto and an ex-conservative member of parliment who advocated anti-cannabis laws his whole career is now president of a cannabis related company in Ontario. The list of such hypocritcal a-holes is a long one in the canadian cannabis industry.
- Global trade: In less than a few years when the cannabis industry is fully legal in Canada and all the rough edges have been smoothend out + USA's political climate has hopefully subsided with a non-trump president and the markets have relaxed. Cannabis will eventually be a commodity that trades like coffee, rice, beans etc and what country does this better than South America? ICC has been very strategic in everything they have done so far and location is one example.
- Vision: It is even more re-assuring to see ICC not just falsely claim that they want to be a "Global leader" and not really do anything about it. Their last partnership displays this. They have made significant progress and are genuinly working towards becoming a global leader in an industry that is still taking shape. This strategy is one way to truly become a giant - be ahead of the curve, grow with the industry rather than after the industry has formed.
End of the day: These boards are meant for discussion. At the end of the day I am an average retail investor so these are just my thoughts. I feel we are sitting on a good thing, however the waters are certainly rough at the moment.
