Think about it this way. The government creates the violence associated with prohibition by creating absurd drug laws. If they didnt outlaw booze, the violence associated with that period wouldnt have existed. Booze is terrible for you. It kills millions. Causes people to act irrational and violent. I drink sometimes but i know that booze is the worst drug out there and ive done most of them. Nobody should be able to put you in prison for drinking or anything else you choose to consume. Now for the last 90 years or so people have been imprisoned for using a benign plant. Do you see the hypocrisy? The government of ontario(LCBO) advertises alcohol over the radio. Isnt that a bit odd?
