You are contradicting yourself. You are saying that airmiles is doing a better job on the loyalty business with faster accumulation and redemption. Yet you are saying that any move aeroplan is doing which is not towards signing a major redemption partner is noise. Air miles does not have a major redemption partner. Aeroplan can compete against air miles... There is no moat to overcome here.
