RE:Slow day on the boardNo nausea here. I like the offer. I hold ENF and ENB in about a 2:1 cost ratio.

Yes, we'll lose a small part of the dividend (16.5%) but as ENB's new DCF picture becomes clear (it's going up), the payout ratio will fall. Dividend growth at 10% guidance should be very easy to meet.

Capital gains will give us back the 16.5% many, many times over. A share price increase of only about 1% per year covers the dividend loss, and I think we will do far better than 1% per year.
