As you can see, -150 mesh at 91% isn’t listed because there is no demand for this stuff. UPSG prices are currently in a bracket of $3800-4200USD per tonne and prices have been constantly on the rise for the last 3-4 months. The graphite demand is booming in the UPSG and anode material markets.
I’m not invested in Mason, I’m simply trying to make sense of the huge differential between its market cap and NOU.V’s market cap knowing:
- NOU is the only one with a demo plant capable of producing 2,0000 tonnes of flakes, 250 tonnes of battery material and 100 tonnes of expendable graphite.
- NOU is the only one with a license for producing UPSG and its got a research program with Hydro-Quebec.
- NOU is targeting 100% electric operations and aims at being carboneutral which will be a strong marketing advantage for battery and EV makers looking at reducing their carbon footprint.
Can any of you Mason shareholders explain what Mason will do with its production of 57% very fine flakes at 91% purity?
