My old warrant question revisited
My old warrant question revisitedI had suggested previously that if the investors buy in to this company and part of the deal includes warrants, who makes money from the sale of those warrants when they are eventually publicly traded.
I was laughed at by JJ who stated that the warrants belong to Newstrike and they will benefit financially and then largely ignored by others.
That is fine however the question still remains who makes money from the sale of a warrant ?
Let's look at this scenario. Imagine that you bought 10 warrants today for .09 cents and were able to sell them tomorrow for .20 cents. Who pockets the profit ? It seems pretty clear to me that the owner of the warrant has made .11 cents per warrant. The company only can benefit if the warrant is exercised.
So now let's look at both bought deals. Both of these deals allow the investors to make money by selling warrants to the public. They got them for free and you are paying money for them. Who is pocketting the profit ? If your answer is Newstrike then I give up.
