I wonder if he actually did his research. Wouldn’t proving ENB’s ownership or control of ENF’s assets call into question its taxation status? That could get messy, and I doubt the lawyers would let that happen. A drop-down, however they do it on paper, would have to be a transfer of control. And ENB doesn’t have control of ENF - except for that one outstanding voting share in a different class (on org chart) whatever that is.
