Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

This from a news article: 'The facility will house two Class 1 extraction rooms capable of processing more than 200,000 kilograms of cannabis annually. ' G

Science will dictate inputs and outputs.

With a 20-21% THC strain, 5 grams is required to extract 1 gram of concentrate.

With a 16-17% THC strain, 6 grams is required to extract 1 gram of concentrate.

Treasure Island is about 17% CBD so 6 grams will be needed for 1 gram concentrate.

LHS today is retailing 1 gram of concentrate for $120 US.

Assume wholesale prices of 50% of retail.

Crunch the numbers and you have $2 BILLION plus of potential wholesale revenues that would be output on an annual basis from the extraction facility! A world class facility in a new rapidly expanding market!

Aphria is not playing checkers, they are playing 3D chess! Thinking many moves ahead!  There are many pie in sky forecasts from all the LPs in this sector and there has been a lot more hype than execution.  Aphria has demonstrated execution and profitability to date and will continue to do so!

I will wait for financials to provide the validation.........and turn off the noise!
