If you're really forward looking you'll see the current valuations are peanuts. The potential for worldwide medicinal alone is so high you can't even begin to try to calculate. Rec will also spread to many populated areas around the world. These 2 streams alone have the potential to reach 1 trillion+ worldwide and that's not even considering hemp. Hemp is a sleeping giant with vast possibilities and guess what? You can bet your a.ss some of our facilities in the future will be repurposed for hemp production. That's the beauty here, there is always a new market that will open up and you will never see a smart company like Canopy running into an over supply issue. Hemp can be various food products, medicine (CBD), building materials (hempcrete), biofuel, textlies and many more. The potential for Canopy to have a 100 billion market cap one day is possible. Park your money here.
Exactly, just to add, there's the pet industry, where cannabis is going to be a major disruptor. Canadians are spending approximately $7b on their pets whereas Americans are spending $50b on their pets. Furthermore, we have such strong alliances, collaborations and R&D that we're gonna get for sure some interesting and probably very important patents improved and perhaps we will make a new category of treating diseases, who knows how much money can be made from all these markets and categories that doesn't even exist yet.
