RE:RE:RE:RE:Realigning expectationsI am surprised to read these types of comments that are factually incorrect, but most surprising to me and important for other readers it see is that you are willing to talk so poorly about someone you don't know personally and make statements/claims as though they are facts working to discredit me and betterU. Not sure to what end, but I am not hiding who I am becuase I know what I am saying is the truth and willing to defend it.
To correct a few points, I self-published becuase I wanted control over my book rights and had the funds to be able to pay for the book costs, warehousing, shipping, marketing...etc. thousands of copies were produced and were available in Chapters for close to 4years. I also gave hundreds away at conferences such as TiECanada, BSEI, EdTech, at high schools and colleges in India to help support entrepreneurs who struggled like I did when I was younger. I think it is still on Amazon and other online portals as well. To understand the context of the book, you need to read it all, not by pulling out quotes out of context to try and steer your negative messaging.
My last several companies have done well. I had a successful exit in my previous one which actually helped me fund betterU for many years. I used the funds from that company in order to build the foundation of betterU.
Being an entrepreneur is one of the most dificult jobs, yet even harder when we must deal wtih the naysayers who try hard to discredit those of us who are doing nothing but trying to make a positive difference. For all the readers here, please do your own R&D and do not rely on comments made in such blogs from people who hide their indenties. I know I am preachy, do make many grammer errors, but I like you and many are not perfect and learning.
In case you also did not know, I have locked up my shares in betterU for 5 years so that the market can see my intentions are to build a good company.
I wish you nothing but the best and hope that over time you will see that I am not the person you are making me out to be here. betterU is a great company, with really hard working people, that in the end, will help a lot of people. Cheers, Brad
