Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

I always suspected the lack of fans to provide constant air flow was going to give them problems!

It did not take long!

And the Canadian weed sector got a lot more interesting!

I got the link from the WEED board.  It is mostly getting ignored there.   The WEED hype train chugs along.

But a picture is worth thousand words!  Let the spin begin!

I asked the question In regards to the drop in production on the day of  the Q release on the WEED board, and din’t Get a single response. I have a small position still in WEED, but fck me the market seems to overlook every flaw in that company, whereas we get mailed for any indiscretion, no matter how tiny.

WEED has not demonstrated reliable production from any of their facilities!  And the BC venture appears to be an experiment gone bad!  But I am sure their propaganda machine will chug along and mice will follow!

Big picture?  Opportunity for everyone else as WEEDs first mover advantage will diminish with their diminishing inventories and grow capability/reliability.

One year from now, WEED could be #3 in the sector based on revenues.  Makes you wonder if their international efforts will execute any better than their Canadian operations.
