RE:Who has 3.4 to 4.0 Billion to Buy CORUS

RE:Who has 3.4 to 4.0 Billion to Buy CORUSIf you go to cash flow statement for 9 months Corus is down 8 million. However that includes a $150 million cash paid for dividend. Annualized that is $200 million.  I predict they will eliminate remaining dividend giving them 200 million to work with after paying all debt charges. Divide that by 200 million shares outstanding one arrives at a dollar a share in cash.  This could never trade down to $2 as that would be 2 times cash flow. Even newspaper dropping ad revenues 15 percent still are at 4 times cash. Check sun purchase. Corus going down 4 percent now on ad dollars. Question is there enough fat to cut expenses to line up and there is. So weakest radio and tv will be sold or shut down. Where stock trading now is a bottom. Only problem for longs though is don’t see upside catalyst so likely will be range bound unless they can show advertisers still like them. Even flat performance instead of decline will put stock in a higher multiple. Big guys in US like Comcast trade at 8 times cash so corus is high price here. Don’t see any downside. Unfortunately don’t see any upside either.
