RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:News Analysis? Halt periods vary according to the reason for the halt. In the case of a major merger like this, there is nothing unusual about a few months worth of a halt period for the size of the companies involved to get all the books put together, supply line notification, training, renewed planning, etc.

So... you're right - this is not the norm... the norm is significantly longer and they are likely trying to get this all done quicker to meet legalization at full capacity in October. Sucks for traders, pays out for investors.
