RE:Bill C-45 and Edibles

RE:Bill C-45 and EdiblesI keep reading about all these companies suiting up with extraction machines for oil processing. Does a standard cultivation or sales license allow for oil production and sales?
droidmeister wrote: Is everyone aware that the legalization of edibles is already "baked-in" to Bill C-45 where it's stated that legalization of edible products will occur within 12 months of legalization of dried cannabis? In other words, edible products will be legal and available for sale no later than October 17, 2019. Where are all of the controlled oil products going to come from that will be required for edibles?

Also, is everyone aware of the difference in the profitablility of a kilo of pot sold as dried vs. a kilo of pot processed into oil? Someone else can get better estimates, but the rough math goes like this: it might cost something like $500 - $1000 to produce a kilo of pot, which can be sold for $4000-$5000 as dried. That same kilo, converted to oil, can be sold for $20,000+.
