RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:StupidThe problem is the sampling or testing cycle of the product with our partners has begun at different time intervals
From the little bit of news leaks we have received, it appears the Pacific Rim players will be the first to bat with the new revolutionary product Spectra has developed.
These 100,000 servers per location type customers, with a cost that probably runs in the tens of millions of dollars are going to make sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that the technology is dependable over the most toughest use applications and over some measurable time frame before they commit!
The poor early adoption rates of the VR Segment of their business, combined with the time required to satisfy the testing period of the data center cables put unforeseen financial stress on the company!
The GOOD news would come in this order in my opinion:
1. There is no mention of their technology in the VR showing any signs of failure (it works)
2. The successful completion of the most recent expected PP of $5 million ( I don’t think they could raise a dime without those cutting the checks not feeling pretty good about their future prospects )
3. Once funding is in place, some initial traction in the data center space, along with some improved revenue in the VR space ( been quiet here, anyone developing some cool apps would help here)
4. They keep improving their offerings in 2 segments through R&D efforts which is super critical to their future competitiveness and survival as a company
The rest is up to management to execute on the opportunities at hand....
