If the other deals are any indication (CB with WEED, Coors with HEXO) it won't be an outright takeover. Diageo, according to BNN talking heads, has been talking to mutliple partners, I assume to avoid concentrated risk for supply. Coors didn't take a stake the way CB did. So it's really up in the air. That being said, if Diageo did take a run at ACB, holding shares would be profitable because there would be talk of more deals coming for sure.

But you could ask dlorne1111 his opinion since he seems to have the intelligence of a donkey turd.
