RE:RE:Coles Notes for Today’s newsMontNay if you read the investor presentation is says Viking wells are for stable growth. Success wells are for unforeseen growth.
This tells me the Viking wells are doing very well. You may be right about the Success wells. Are they not going after Heavy’s with the success? So technically isn’t it better if they hit a boomer well with the light oil?? But the company has sort of managed expectations already with the Success wells in that they are higher risk.
According to the investor presentation some of the ground had light oil wells contiguous to our claims producing in excess of 220 bbl. as a result of the decline rates on these wells it makes sense to do a 2 month test to see if abnormal flows remained consistent. By abnormal flows I mean 200+ bbl’s+ Wells and the potential we may have more than one of them.
I am not too worried about the success wells. It’s the light oil I really care about and rumour has it we hit a lot of that stuff!!!
