RE:Why ?I think there are several things.
The big $10,000,000 financing they did sucked up most of the interest in the stock. It was always thinly traded with not a big following, it didn’t take much money to bring it up over $1 earlier this year. Anybody with serious money that wanted in is now invested after the private placement. So we languish.
Nothing to show so far for almost a year of effort at getting sales in the New York market. They said they were accelerating their plan to expand to the US market because of the great potential in that market. There was a lot of excitement at the start of the year that there would be some sales in FY 2018 but so far it’s just one big dud. I think FY 2019 starts in Oct.
I think the market is tired of conference calls with talk of great potential, quarter after quarter.
If you listen to the last conf. call people are concerned about the Ford government cutting back green energy projects in the education sector. The education market has been pretty much the biggest source of revenue for LPS. Management has communicated that the program in question does not affect them but the market obviously seems to doubt that.
Until we get steady PRs announcing sales to the US, the sp will continue to trend sideways to down.
If you are interested in the company buy some stock, you’re getting it at big discount to the PP earlier this year.
Not much happens during the summer for these guys, usually the first and second quarter of the FY is when the deals start comming in.
A bit long but these are some my thoughts.
