RE:RE:The settlement fee in perspectiveThere's no way to verify this but I have heard from a couple of crdible sources incluiding another company that operates at Madagascar that Cougar had bribed the local officials against issuing the clearances needed... hopefully thats sorted out now.
Cougar's legal fees is about 1 M dollars and they had spent about 1.5M dollars on the project itself... so Cougar also is not gaining a whole lot out of this.
