RE:RE:Canopy with calorie-free drinks Excellent post. Also believe that achieving compliancy with pending government regulations will be a much easier path for the water soluble tech... not to mention the many benefits that can be touted to the consumer. There is room for many players but so far, Sproutly remains the only one with the special sauce.

I see his wording as a way of undercutting every other nano or emulsification technology, and it's not really a lie, because everyone is unique in how fast they metabolize a fatty acid, which is ultimately still what a nano particle emulsified in a beverage will be (unless its water soluble, like actually water soluble—enter Sproutly).
I don't see Sproutly making a deal with any of the big LPs at this time, but I could be wrong. All the big guys have money invested in what they have perused until this point, and it's probably a lot less than it would be to acquire an entire company like Sproutly. I believe they will go forward with what they have. This is all okay people, the beverage market hasn't even started to emerge. It's going to be interesting.
Sproutly sees value added products as the true revenue stream in the upcoming market, and they know that as of next year, cannabis will virtually be a commodity as price compression will start kicking in. At this time, Sproutly will be able to purchase all the dried flower they need at a low cost and turn it into their beverages. Any deal is likely to come from a beverage company that knows how to formulate awesome drinks, and who wants to get into the cannabis space in some fashion. Also, a deal could come from a mid-cap or junior LP who wants to peruse the beverage space. Both could happen, frankly.
Even if other companies get true water soluble technology, Sproutly will still have theirs, and if they partner with a solid beverage maker they can still succeed beyond our wildest expectations. Competition is not to be feared, it's what will drive the market forward.
