Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Friday

FridayIt is fair to say that most longs got disappointed on Friday since they were expecting some kind of deal or a listing announcement. After seeing Vic's interview and conference call I realized that Vic doesn't want a deal or a listing. Im pretty sure Diageo and Altria already offered a great premium. Hearing him talk and in turn reject leaked news with such a negativity gave me an impression that he wants to build his own thing. He knows an investment from a major Corporation will limit his power, it will interfere with his vision. His idea of shareholder value is not the same as ours and the sp is not even on his mind. He has no issues to sacrifice short term to mid term pain for his long term vision. This is what i concluded from his latest appearances and thus i don't expect any news or announcements for the next 12-24 months. APH had everything at its disposal, coke, diageo, molson, listing etc etc and yet nothing happened. In contrast, ACB, will go to bed with a multi national company very soon. Its ceo could barely hold his excitement when asked him about these companies. He even leaked things himself. This is my personal observation and opinion that's all. BTW i know that we don't influence the SP so no need to imagine stuff or mis interpret my post.
