Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Little Help from CBS oil Users

RE:Little Help from CBS oil UsersYou should be able to get the advice you need by calling your LP. They are typically very helpful and will respond to your specific circumstances.

When I called for a family member who had decided on Aphria's Rideau CBD oil, they advised to start out at a low dose of .25 ml and see how that goes. CBD should give a body high, not a head high so some find it difficult to gauge whether it is effective or not. With oil, onset will not be immediate but it should last longer. We were advised to start with the low dose and take it daily in the morning for a few days. If the initial dose does not give the desired effect (pain reduction, uplifting feeling, less anxiety, etc.) than up the dose in .25 ml increments until you reach a dosage that's right for you. We were told to go no higher than a 1.5 ml single dose. I have heard with CBD oil that some people take an initial dose in the morning and then again one or two more times throughout the day. I wouldn't take high CBD oil just before bed as it may prevent you from falling asleep. Another thing they advised was to take the oil under the tongue, wait 60-90 seconds for it to be absorbed before swallowing whatever's left.

Good luck but do call your LP.

She's concerned she'd have to take the entire bottle every couple days. How do you figure out the dose for CDB oil?
