Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Altria earnings...short read

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Altria earnings...short readTorronna I absolutely agree with what you say, and you made my point.  This was not a comprehension issue of any readers, it was clearly inaccurately reported on by Seeking Alpha.  The lesson is clear...the only credible sources are the actual company NRs that are published on their site.  Last week has shown that both The Globe and Mail and Seeking Alpha cannot be trusted to present the facts appropriately.  As much as I hate to admit it, there is certainly enough evidence to support these "fake news" allegations by various politicians.  WRT anything about APH possible partnerships I will believe nothing unless it comes directly from the company without any bias.

"The company's expansion efforts into the cannabis industry have been solidified with recent announcements to partner with Canadian marijuana grower Aphria."

I'm certainly not getting my hopes up. It's odd how they get into details like they have an interest in taking a larger stake in Aphria in the future. If this is all based on rumour, they are really stretching it. They used the word confirmed, i dont know about you, but i wouldnt say confirmed unless it was of course confirmed... Should be criminal...

Use the complete phrase: "confirmed interest".  That does not mean they have confirmed any agreement.  Only that they are interested in the possibility of a deal.

Too many hopeful investors let their desire for higher SP over ride thier comprehension on what is actually being said..

I personally give the sentence zero credibility due to Seeking Alpha being the source. They haven’t cared about accuracy in the past and I am confident that they would have no issue presenting an incorrect or unconfirmed statement as fact.

At this point a NR from Altria and/or APH is the only thing that will get me excited.
