Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:World's largest cannabis dispensary just opened in Vegas

RE:RE:World's largest cannabis dispensary just opened in VegasIn addendum to my previous post: this explains strategic moves that APH is making. Short term pains for long-term gains, APH could have jumped to a deal a year ago e.g. Molson and doubled its share price but then what. It needs a suitable partner to execute on a global scale. It is not about doubling the SP and thinking small, it is about 5-10 year global dominance. Probably 100 B dollar MC type of dominance.

Think for a sec, why would a big shot from one of the larges companies join APH? Why would APH focus on lowest cost per gram and why would APH refuse multiple companies like Coke, Molson etc.

I guess I am stuck here to find out if this becomes a reality.

There is no competition from south of the border, APH knows this and is establishing a dominance.  A house divided cannon stand, that is current US politics, it serves us to have division and the longer they wait with federal rec legalization the better. Otherwise, we will not be able to compete, they will have all the advantages, e.g. capital, climate, size etc.

Planet 13 has a dispensary and an entertainment complex, where guests can buy recreational marijuana and do things like laser graffiti.
