Its Battery Materials Plant projects is located in an industrial park and near a shipping port in Becancour, Quebec, approximately 150 km northeast of Montreal, on the Saint Lawrence River. The Company owns the 100% of the rights to the Lac Gueret property, which consists of 74 map-designated claims totaling 3,999.52 hectares.

Imerys puts its African mine on care & maintenanceIn its November update on the graphite market, Benchmark Minerals Intelligence announces that Imerys has put its new graphite mine in Namibia under "care & maintenance".

I've been hearing rumors about this for a while now and it looks like Imerys would have spent more than $ 60M before pulling the plug.

This mine and its deposit was clearly not a good idea, according to some of my contacts who we saw it up close.

This news is potentially very bullish for NOU. Imerys' graphite mine in Lac-des-les is at the end of its life, NOU is in the process of contacting Imerys' customers in North America with tonnes of graphite to sell to them and the graphite market is starting strong growth that will last for years ...
