Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Time to take a Stockhouse breatherI agree with rocket. Bruce Linton was already talking about getting a bottling line set up. I'm sure constellation is a huge help on this. Would really be nice to have Diageo on board sooner rather then later.

There is some reason to question Vic's judgment.  If anyone doesn't see that the guy is fairly arrogant and narcissistic (e.g., '.......the products I'm bringing out'  '.....my infused beverages', etc., etc.).  This can be a positive if it is reflected in smart moves and hard work as it shows he is keenly invested in the company (....his company).   On the other hand, the leadership teams at international suitors see this and can exploit it, or they can get leery, especially if an arrogant person overplays their hand, gets greedy.

One mistake he is making with the 3-6 month statement is probably that many very small drink companies, Molson-Hexo, Constellation-Canopy are all moving ahead very quickly with product development, logistics etc.   I suspect 3-6 months is now too slow, and the market is punishing ATHA and others who don't have a deal.   Furthermore, I don't see any major events except a deal on the horizon to move this stock price upward by much.

The upshot is that I fear the man has overplayed his hand and he needs to get sound advice (if needed) to backtrack quickly.
