Related, I expect more news to start popping up about Ontario stores being built. It will be good to see an alternative to mail order just as supply chain issues get resolved. Hopefully by then HC will have their backlog sorted and new facilities approved. Though it all seems like a sh!tshow, I am confident they will get it sorted...given the amount a tax revenue this will generate I am sure governments are eager to see things running smoothly.
US futures are in the green, but this daily silliness is all about investors telling our US counterparts to fix trade issues with China and back off on interest rate increases. I hope some definitive actions are taken on these two fronts. Though I dislike their President, he is all about money and no doubt is motivated to bring home a trade deal. Unlike NAFTA, China really is predatory and does need to be reeled in. That being said, it is time for those poker players to put their cards on the table and ante up. Enough posturing.
As for Aphria, I do hope a joint deal of some sort is announced sooner than later. If anyone is waiting for "the right time" they will never get there. I still believe we are in the first inning, not the first period (9 steps verses 3) in this industry. Despite the FUD about Aphria not seeing its ATH again anytime soon my bet is it will....and I have a lot riding on that bet. I believe it is now the time for APH to demonstrate that post legalization is a new game of numbers over hype and they have nailed it.
As for the lobster recommendations...absolutely confounded why a bullboard would be utilized for this and not private e-mail or messages. I sense we are being mocked.
WRT the emotional side of this, ironically I found myself relieved we are "only" down a couple of percentage points yesterday. Just goes to show one can adapt to almost any insanity. Stay well.
