This deal will take a few days to digest. Decent volume today. Someone was prepared to step up. Will be watching market action over next 2 weeks for signs as to where this is headed.  Its also tax loss selling season so there could be some distortion in what will really happen.
It was a disaster for common shareholders. I sold the balance of my common a few weeks ago at steep loss.  

Everybody should have sold all energy positions in October 2015 when Trudeau got elected. 
He promptly cancelled Northern Gateway.. and later he raised the bar on Trans Canada pipelines by asking them to determine emissions coming out of pipe...
They wisely told him to stuff it....
Its sad how our great country is purpsosely being destroyed by these champagne socialist. 
The 3 % of takers who are not productive members of society and have no skin in the game get to dictate development.  This has to change....
