RE:RE:RE:RE:The first good news!!Main advantage I believe at this time is the exploration for vanadium at the Lac Brule site,
This was released April 2018:
Argex raised capital in 2017 and 2018 and a portion was to maintain its mining activities and its mining issuer status. An amount was therefore raised specifically for exploration on its Lac Brule property. If the results were not impressive, Argex would have filed its results on SEDAR and not make any further communications efforts. However…
1. This is a “discovery” in terms of geology and it does not happen often !
2. The highlighted width of 28.7 and 20m in two of the drill holes indicate massive lenses. The resource calculation is underway and could indicate enough tonnage for a deposit that could be economical to develop – of course more drilling will be necessary in 2018
3. The average grade of 33% Ti02 is very interesting and could provide the opportunity to Argex to integrate its mining activity for future feedstock
4. Vanadium is in high demand for batteries and other uses. While many junior projects in Quebec are promoting that they have vanadium, their grades may not be economical according to Argex consultant geologists. Argex could extract vanadium with its process and sell it as a valuable by-product, further reducing opex. More feasibility and economic valuations will be needed to claim more than what is stated in the press release
