52 Week Low Achieved
Lydian International, At 52-Week Low, Allowed To Access Armenian Mine To Winterize Equipment

28 Nov 2018 13:54 ET

01:54 PM EST, 11/28/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Lydian International (LYD.TO) on Wednesday said it secured access to the Amulsar gold project in Armenia in order to winterize and maintain equipment at the site.

The company has been blocked from its project by what it calls "an illegal" blockade since June.

"While we continue to work with all levels of government to achieve a permanent resolution to the current situation, we are also evaluating a range of financing, strategic and legal alternatives available to the company, chief executive Joao Carrelo said in a statement. "In the meantime, it is important to be able to winterize and preserve assets at this time. This is a positive step as we work to re-establish permanent access."

"So does this means only crisis management staff will remain and all other non-essential staff will be let go"?

The company's shares were last seen unchanged at $0.075, a 52-week low, on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

"Shocking - Q3 Results were horrible - management kept too many staff - cash burn was crazy - the problems were completely misread and shareholders have and will continue to pay for this poor management decision".
