The Company operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, Galane Gold Mines Ltd., two assets: a producing gold mine which also has the rights to certain mineral exploration tenements (the mine and mineral exploration tenements collectively, the Galaxy Property) located in the Republic of South Africa (South Africa) through subsidiaries located in South Africa, and a gold and silver mine and processing infrastructure located in the United States of America (the Summit Property) that is in care and maintenance. The property covers approximately 58.6 square kilometers (km2) is part of the prolific Barberton Greenstone Belt.

RE:RE:RE:Wonder if shareholders can stop this takeover now!it is clearly opportunistic, based on a low share price not reflective of the value of the assets. This is the problem with the stock market - it focuses on performance, not the underlying value. Newmont just wants to do a grab and run. Mr Ing and others like him are paid to shill for Newmont, either directly or indirectly, and should be ignored.  I don't understand why the offer is friendly, at such a low premium and almost all in shares too! If I wanted Newmont shares I could have bought them.   I expect the BoD have some "incentive" to accept the offer.  Being paid 17% premium in shares from another company with 2 pathetic cents thrown in  is insulting. I will vote against.  I really don't want to get my dividend from a US company, on top of all the other nonsense.
