Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Unrealized vs Realized lossess

Unrealized vs Realized lossessIf the buy out price is lets say $ 20 it does not help those that had to sell on the way down only those that held on. Some sold at a huge loss for many shares and maybe bought back in a lower price with fewer shares. Only those that held and did not sell any shares will be without a loss back at $ 20. Most got scared and sold especially when on margin. Those losses are realized and painful and still subject to litigation against any person found guilty of fraudulent activity. There will be a forensic audit by a third party accounting firm to follow the money flow. The company will not be adversely affected but only those that acted not in the best interest of the shareholder but rather for self interest. Where is Lorne Abony from Nuuvera ??
