logic vs the shorts

logic vs the shorts
The short situation is changing.

The mysteries of "Short World" Continue. RNKLF short report, here on Seeking Alpha @lexcontrols and @littlebylittle report Fidelity gave them back 100% of their stock lent out. Well at IB I just got report, today in biggest account with 180,000 RNKLF went from 85,000 to 39,000, so less than 25% lent, and was running 70-95% lent. Etrade is still 90% lent but they do not prorate, sorta a FIFO system that favors those with oldest positions.
This is shocking, the shorts are being scared out of their short positions by the drill report and are buying to cover, yet indicates longs are selling.
Anyone here sell? Very odd. If there were naked shorts, counterfeit stock printed by brokers as Merrill was caught in email admitting they very illegally did on every high lend interest rate stock, does that come to play here? Are they making the counterfeit stock disappear? Hard to figure. At IB the lend rate when from 28% to 27% and now "at least" 792,000 is availible. More than double yesterday's 350,000. iborrowdesk.com/...
This much covering should have driven it up. The shorts are bailing and admitting defeat it seems, but getting off easier that logic would predict.
