Uptake Rule

The uptick rule was removed in 2012 which disallowed short-selling to occur unless the stock price was rising. Without the re-implementation of the uptick rule interest in the TSX will eventually decline because retail investors will become too scared after being continually fleeced by MMs who can manipulate SP however they wish. I only hope company management have the expertise to publish positive updates without warning to catch short-sellers by surprise.
