Lowering my average

I was thinking of lowering my avg before next months financials but unfortunately i would need to buy fair amount thus making my over all share count extremely high. Ive been holding for a year now and i have faith in the company but i will need capital in the new future. 8-12 months...i just dont know if ill be getting it back by then and i dont want to get burned or sell at a loss. Thoughts?
